No. 1 Ancient Tombs in Haman’s Marisan Mountain
This is Haman’s popular tourist attraction, bustling with people capturing photos along the ridge of the Marisan Ancient Tombs, where you can experience the history of ancient Aragaya.
Small peaks, each around 60 meters above sea level, stretch over 2 km along the main ridge and large burial mounds including the largest tomb of Gaya, with a diameter of 40.2 meters, are lined along this ridge.
The beautiful landscape extends to the western branch ridge and you can find many visitors taking photos at various spots along the ridge. Visiting Haman Museum and learning about the history of Ara Gaya before hiking the mountain will enhance the experience.
From spring to fall, you can observe a variety of wildflowers and wild grass, and ever since the discovery of the Constellation Capstone, stargazing events are frequently held here. This is also the site where iconic Gaya artifacts were unearthed, including horse armor, boat-shaped pottery and house-shaped pottery.
