Haman Museum displays and preserves over 1,140 artifacts, including around 140 borrowed items and around 1,000 donated or entrusted pieces.
Opened in October 2003, The museum was officially registered as a Type 1 specialized museum in June 2005 and currently it displays and preserves over 1,140 artifacts, including around 140 borrowed items and around 1,000 donated or entrusted pieces. Located to the west of the Dohang and Malsan-ri Ancient Tombs designated as National Historic Sites No. 84 and No. 85, the museum is loved by the visitors and local residents as a cultural rest area, offering a beautiful view of the surrounding historic landscape.
In addition to exhibitions, Haman Museum offers various social education programs serving as a cultural and educational institution. It also plays a central role in protecting Haman’s cultural heritage and developing cultural content through academic research and offering advise related to local historical sites and artifacts.
