Haman Comprehensive Social Welfare Center provides protective services, domiciliary services, and educational training for independent living skills to residents of Haman County, Gyeongsangnam-do, who have social welfare needs.

  • Size: 1 basement floor, 3 above-ground floors, total floor area: 2,736㎡
  • Construction Period: Groundbreaking in March 2009, completed in June 2010

Main Facilities

  • Basement: Performance practice room (for traditional music such as nongak and samulnori)
  • First Floor: Auditorium, 2 counseling rooms, offices
  • Second Floor: 5 lecture rooms, Dream Start Chirwon Branch, food bank, toy bank
  • Third Floor: Computer room, small meeting room, kitchen, 1 lecture room, Haman County Children's Meal Management Support Center
  • You need to obtain permission and pay fees to use the auditorium (214 seats) or small meeting room (40 seats).

Overview

  • Eligibility:
    • 1st Priority: Residents of Haman County (no educational or age restrictions)
    • 2nd Priority: Residents of other areas if enrollment vacancies are available (no educational or age restrictions)
  • Operating Method: Open recruitment biannually (5 months each in the first and second halves of the year) for those wishing to enroll.

  • Recruitment Guidelines: Pamphlets are distributed biannually, with information posted on the Haman County website in January and July (promotion and application period).
  • Fee: KRW 50,000 won for each half of the year (5 months).
