Incombustible
  • Waste with metal attachments, broken bottles, glass, ceramics, etc.
  • Volume-based incombustible waste gunny sack
  • Domestic ash: Transparent bag
  • All Eup and Myeon: 2-3 times a week
  • Collection time: 20:00 the previous day to 06:00 on the collection day
Combustible
  • Non-recyclable waste paper (diapers, toilet paper, etc.)
  • Bags, wood pieces, dolls, tape, toys
  • Bones (from cows, pigs, chickens)
  • Shellfish shells
  • Volume-based combustible waste bag (pink)
  • Eup: Every day
  • Other Areas: 2-3 times a week

Food Waste
  • Vegetables, fruits, grains, meat, seafood, etc.
  • Volume-based food waste bag (green)
    ※ Dispose of after removing as much moisture as possible.
  • Eup: Every day
  • Other Areas: 2-3 times a week
  • Collection time: 20:00 the previous day to 06:00 on the collection day
Recyclables
  • Recyclable items (PET bottles, Styrofoam, paper, cans, scrap metal, plastic, etc.)
  • Transparent bags
  • Paper and Styrofoam should be tied to prevent them from blowing away
  • All Eup and Myeon: 2-3 times a week
  • Collection Time: 20:00 the previous day to 06:00 on the collection day
Appliances (Free Pickup)
  • Four major appliances (refrigerators, washing machines, air conditioners, TVs)
  • Electric ovens, dishwashers, dish dryers, hot and cold water dispensers, vending machines, air purifiers, treadmills, copy machines
  • Old stereos, PC sets
  • Other items can be collected for free if five or more are disposed of at once or alongside eligible items
  • Request through call center (1599-0903), online (www.edtd.co.kr) or KakaoTalk (ID: wee) → Waste collected by the collector (Association of Electronics Environment)
Large Waste
  • Items too large for trash bags (furniture, appliances, office equipment, heating/cooling units, etc.)
  • Report to local office → Pay fee and receive report sticker → Dispose of waste on designated date
  • Report on Haman County Office website → Pay fee, print out sticker and attach sticker to waste → Dispose of waste on designated date
  • Fee: Varies by item
Household Waste Below 5 Tons
  • Household waste excluding commercial waste
  • Small amounts of waste disposed of during home repairs, moving, etc. (not suitable for standard bags)
  • Cannot be disposed of unless properly sorted
  • Landfill Hours
  • Weekdays: 09:00 to 18:00
  • Disposal Method: Report to local office → Receive verification sticker → Take waste to waste treatment center → Pay fee → Disposal at the waste treatment center
  • Fee: KRW 40,000 per ton
